Dubai TV report about our serious games

In April 2010, Al Amn magazine pulished a lenghty report about the serious games developed by our team.
This serious game aimed at traffic accident investigators who can use it to sharpen their investigative skills away from the real-life constraints. It allow the investigator to question the drivers, passengers, and bystanders. It also allow him to secure the scene, attend the injured, take photographs, take measurements, and all the tasks required to complete the investigation.
Crime Scene Investigation
This serious game allows a player to be immersed in a 3D environment to solve crimes. These crimes range from simple theft to murder cases. The player is able to go through the different phases of an investigation from receiving the incident call to drawing the crime scene to complete the case file.

This study describes the learning potential of serious games and their success in a number of domains such as the military, healthcare, education, and emergency services. The work aims to highlight the training opportunities available for serious games in the police domain in general, and in the Dubai police force in particular, and the challenges facing the serious games domain.
